This is the week that prompted me create this blog. After a day strolling around Windsor on Wednesday I decided to head to Bristol for a Thursday night out with John. (The away leg after the previous weekend in Windsor, which led to me waking up in Cippenham and John and Watney waking up my Landlady's daughter at 3am)
Thursday night was relatively eventful, Bristol was rammed as it was graduation day. We met up with Luke and set about drinking. The only thing I will publish on-line about that nights events is the phrase 'reverse shocker'. From Bristol I got the train to London, arriving at midday, the weather was glorious so I walked to Hyde Park from Paddington and fell asleep. I met up with Armen Dee and Woodhall later in the afternoon, it was a re-union of our house in 3rd year uni. We grabbed some lunch at a lovely Lebanese café called Comptoir near St Christopher's Place. That night we went to Roadhouse in Covent Garden, expensive but v.fun, seduced a Northern Irish girl but went our separate ways. Most fun was had outside after the club shut, playing about with a giant plastic ice cream cone.
After a lazy Saturday afternoon in London me and Tom headed back to Windsor with Josh and got on the pre-lash in an Eton hotel room. Went to Vanilla in Windsor, which was full to the brim with stunning girls. Good place. However my usual skills of charm deserted me when approached by one of said girls, she was intimidatingly hot. Got her number but nothing has come of it, boo!
Sunday was rest day
Today (Monday) I decided to cycle to Oxford, a 2.5 hour trip covering just over 40miles, it did my hangover the world of good. I arrived at my hostel and had a wander around Oxford, only to be rung by Josh at 5pm 'Where are you?' 'Oxford' 'Be there in 2hrs, get me a bed at the hostel' true to form, Josh arrived in Oxford and we went on a very random night out. Highlight of the evening was walking into McDonalds at 2am and ordering one of everything on the menu, the chap took a bit of persuading but he did it. God knows how much it cost, I drunkenly carded it. Between the two of us we polished it off, pretty good effort. Cycling back to Windsor today was pretty sweaty, almost cured the hangover, stopped for lunch in Henley which was lovely.
